I've been with this practice since before it moved premises, and always had courteous and compassionate service. The reception staff are polite, friendly and helpful. On one occasion, I saw the duty doctor as I had gone to the practice with an unidentified pain. She could have sent me home with painkillers but examined me instead and discovered a large mass which had had few other symptoms. It could have been dangerous if undiagnosed. This is typical of the rigorous professionalism of the practice. When joined with other practices for Covid vaccinations, the service could not have been better or more reassuring. Waits for appointments have become a little tiresome but this is the same everywhere. My GP has been helping me through problems with growing old and with the serious growth yet to be removed, with gentle concern and thoroughness. |

Visited yesterday reception'st rude and brash. So waited 20 mins only to be told that the person i was ther to see was not in and working from home. No problem with nurses . Waited 10 months for diabetic review, then they got it wrong .the office staff need replacing so as to get it right. When dr chivers left this practise it has gone down hill. I am 67 with angina and diabetes, and made to feel that the reception staff don't give a damm. |

Uncaring unsympathetic reception staff, that appear to do their upmost in preventing you from seeing a doctor, without even enquiring if it’s urgent. More likely to get an audience with the pope than see a doctor. Dare to complain and speak to anyone in authority you’ll find they are all in a meeting. Really could do in improving their people skills. Two week wait to register due to Megan ( head receptionist ) two inch pile of paperwork on her desk. This practice is suffering from a bad case of C.O.C ( cause of COVID) Which seems to have badly infected the practice with a lack of empathy and customer service skills. Avoid if possible . You really wouldn’t want to encounter the frontline staff if feeling unwell. As for the medical staff. I can’t tell you. Never got past the reception team |
