Impossible to get an appointment of any sort - had a 5 week wait for a phone appointment for a child in pain, as if that wasn’t bad enough they then didn’t call on the day they said they would and had to be chased, finally the phone appointment happened after a wait of 6 weeks. No apology was given. On another occasion it took the GP 3 weeks to issue an urgent prescription with several calls to chase via reception. Long waits and tedious messages on the phone, the econsult system is only any good if your concern fits one of their suggested options. Long winded and extremely difficult to complete if you are feeling unwell - usually takes me 45minutes to complete the forms. Econsult only works Mon-Fri during office hours anyway. Seriously considering changing to another practice. |

I recently suffered a stroke the practice phoned to make a face to face appointment with my gp at that time I wasn't able to walk or get down steps to the car this was explained to the receptionist who some how couldn't quite understand my problem .at present I'm thinking of looking into another gp practice as certain areas of my experience point to poor practice on their part . |
