My experiences at the West Street Care Centre have been superb. Karen called me in straight away, whether to have my flu jab or ears syringed. She also sorted out my COVID19 jabs and kept me updated by email msgs on my mobile. At 93, with pain and diminished flexibility in my knees, I hope for treatment for these very soon from Dr Balian. I am grateful that I no longer have to climb the hill to the hospital, where one sometimes waited an hour after one’s appointment and generally ended up with a nurse practitioner!Most doctors retired and return as Locums! | ||||||

I phoned the surgery yesterday after referral from another service and was added to the duty doctor's list for a phone call later in the day. I had no problems getting through on the phone, I was only number 2 in the queue. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. I was later phoned back to come in and see a nurse practitioner instead, which I did, and subsequently saw a GP afterward. They were both extremely professional and provided excellent care. I rarely need to use GP services but I was very happy with the whole experience. This is a very busy surgery and all of the staff I came into contact with are providing a great service. | ||||||

One of the GPS at this surgery visited my father at the direction of social services. Five people had suggested that all is not well with my father. Despite serious concerns about the treatment my father is receiving the GO concluded after a short visit that things were fine. No steps taken for a more detailed investigation of the issues raised and no attempt to refer to specialists rather than a general GP. | ||||||
