A depressing story of dwindling qualities, standards and healthcare service, by an under resourced, underfunded group of what appears to be nomad locum clinicians. Little continuity and actual medical care provided, who are these symphony vanguard cowboys playing at providing me with quality healthcare. ????? How do I as a taxpayer do something about the growing appalling track record of this practice ! They need staff and funding.... not the BS they get from Vanguard.. |

I have an ongoing kidney problem am diabetic and have anemia problems so on 13th August 2019 I had a blood test, a week later I called the surgery to find out the results to be told a Doctor has not looked at them yet. The receptionist said she would send a note to the doctor to review them and call me, meant time I told her I was in a lot of pain with my kidney and could she put a note through to the Doctor to ring me. I got a call back from the receptionist to advise the first time a doctor could call me would be on 2nd September 2019 to discuss the blood results. I said this is too long as I have a lot of pain in my kidney, so she looked again and said she could possibly get a phone call to me on 27th August 2019. This is not the first time we have had problems getting to speak / or see a doctor while we have a problem and normally it takes about 30 minutes to get through. We are thinking of changing surgeries even though we have been with this practice for 38 years. |

This doctors surgery is a disgrace when it comes to patient care! Not only can you not get an appointment but you can barley get through on the phone line without waiting at lease 45 minutes or so! They never seem to have any regular doctors at present so if you are lucky enough to get an appointment then it’s about six weeks away and with a locum doctor who has absolutely no idea of your background etc. I was lucky enough to get an appointment this afternoon after battling with a previous doctor on the phone only to be seen by the most arrogant, rude and egotistical man I have ever come across! I could not believe his attitude when I was explaining my problem which I’ve been battling with for years, he just slumped back in his chair, rolled his eyes and basically laughed off my situation, didn’t take me seriously or even listen to what I had to say! He was no help at all and I feel I’ve been fobbed off like I have every other doctor. I will be writing a formal complaint and I advise others to steer clear! |
