dont ask for a home visit at this practice because you won't get one what you will get is a telling off for even asking | ||||||

Other than the occasional harassed receptionist, the staff are always pleasant and polite. However, the Practice has introduced an appointments system which seems designed to avoid giving you one under any circumstances. Moreover, in my experience, both follow-up care and admin is poor. | ||||||

Cervical Screening Service: I recently attended Axbridge Surgery following a letter from the Cervical Screening Admin Service reminding me that a routine smear test was due. The service was faultless from start to finish, with plenty of choice of appointments and confirmation and reminders sent closer to the date. I know some people are reluctant to attend but I would really like to reassure everyone that this service at the practice works well and it's something all of us women need to do! I would particularly like to rate Nurse Clare Bevan who conducts the tests and was absolutely amazing. Clare explains everything in great detail, gives you her full attention and time and you feel in very safe hands. Thank you Clare for making such a difference to what can be a daunting experience. | ||||||
