On the whole the GPs are very good and I've only had one poor experience. The real problem is getting to see one or actually getting in touch with the Surgery at all. They simply do not answer the phone at all so you either have to go in person to the Surgery, which seems crazy given the current situation, or else contact the NHS via a third part service which will then contact the Surgery for you. It is not a good situation at all. |

Rude reception staff that treat patients with disdain. Forever on the phone trying to get an appointment. They always get the repeat prescriptions wrong. Two of the best doctors have left. So bad we are investigating which doctors to transfer too then we will leave. |

A thank you. I phoned the surgery and requested a conversation with a doctor and let him/her decide whether I should have appointment Date was 04 July time was 08.30, was told I was no. 1 in queue, receptionist answered and I asked the question. I was told yes but could I give brief reason for call.. some people have a problem with this, but, the receptionist will forward the message to the correct dept,,, doctor, pharmacist, nurse etc. My request went to a doctor who called me some 40 mins later, then offered me an appointment at lunch time. He was very calm, sympathetic and explained my condition and treatment. No rush no problems. The receptionists I have always found very pleasant very helpful and professional and at times have to deal with most rude people, yes there is need to queue but they can only deal with one person at a time. Thank you for the service. Are there problems at Churchfields, yes rude inconsiderate patients! |
