I was removed from the Practice after 30 years, as a member of the reception staff and Practice Manager felt that the way I complained about an issue left them feeling threatened. I was told I had shouted, which I deny. I was annoyed and frustrated. I had not received any warnings about my behaviour or conduct over 30 years but was removed under a Zero Tolerance policy within 8 days. This was in conflict with NHS guidelines and BMA advice but was upheld by the NHS as it formed part of the practice's contract. My own GP failed to support me and told my wife he had had to abide by what he had been told by his staff. No witness evidence was provided to the NHS by staff, merely anecdotal evidence rewritten by Head of the Practice. There were many conflicting and contradictory remarks made in correspondence. I feel very aggrieved by the situation but, thankfully, have found a much better practice. |

My husband and I have been with this practice now for 3 years and we both agree that the full time GPs, practice nurses, pharmacists and admin staff are all helpful, professional, efficient and caring. This surgery provides a first rate service and is by far the best we have ever attended. Only been let down once and that was by a locum. We would have no hesitation in recommending this practice. |
