I am expecting my 2nd child and not only can I not get in touch with my Midwife, I am struggling to make an appointment to see the GP. I'm told there are no available appointments and to come to morning surgery. Last time I took this advice, I waited 2 1/2 hours.
While I am not one for going to the doctors unless absolutely necessary, I find disgusting I have to take my child to a walk in centre because I can't get him seen by a GP with out a 2 week wait. Then my genuine concerns about my second pregnancy are merely dismissed by the reception staff who inform me to call my Midwife. For the second time in this pregnancy, the midwife is proving extremely elusive. It took three weeks last time.
I have tried to move and register else where but this too is a task and a half. Absolutely stressing out here and no help from the so so called professionals. |

Been with this Surgery all my life and have only got good things to say. All the staff are lovely, especially the GP’s. Yes you might have to wait a while before you get an appointment, but in an emergency or in a situation where you need to see a GP urgently that day, you are seen straight away.
Will be so sad when one doctor leaves! |
