I wish to give my thanks and praise to all the reception staff who have been so supportive during a recent & continuing period of ill health , the cheerful help with appointments specimens and results lightens up a depressing time .i am also grateful for the endless support from my new doctor who has finally heard me |

Had an appointment with one of the main GP’s at the surgery with concerns for my 4 week old. GP called on call paediatrician for advice and as no answer was given, made us leave the consulting room & met us in reception where we were handed a letter and told to go to A&E. No examination was given to my baby, no advice & no explanation as to why we were being sent to A&E. Asked for a second opinion from another doctor & was told they were the only doctor & they turned and left, ignoring myself and my baby. Have now moved to another surgery as I cannot have such poor care for my baby. This surgery has no direction, no practice manager & the main doctors are rude and obstructive. There is no need for such poor service being given & there is no excuse. |

I have been into the consultation room with my partner and she was completely ignored by the doctor who insisted on giving her diarrhoea medication for stomach problems when she didn't have diarrhoea. We then went to an emergency on call doctor at the hospital and she was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis and she started treatment. Why our GP wouldn't listen to her, I don't know. I myself had to wait 1 month for an appointment, received 1 month supply of medication and I was told the doctor would call me to see how the medication was going. 3 weeks later and I hadn't received any appointment so I chased and was told they couldn't book anything for another month leaving me without meds, unless I tried again to see if I can get an emergency appointment one day. I'm also hosting a Ukrainian who is receiving such bad service from them that she's planning on travelling to Ireland to see a Ukrainian doctor there. I've tried to register with Ashfields in Sandbach but they wont cover us. I've taken out private insurance just so I don't have to deal with this surgery but unfortunately I still have to use them for some things. |
