I've used this practice in various guises & staff etc for nearly 60 years. I've seen many changes over the years in Doctors & reception staff. All things change with time & it's very easy to say 'things aren't the same these days' but that can be said about the NHS in general but that is NOT the case with the present staff. I have a long term condition & the extra stress of taking care of my disabled Uncles medication & well-being requirements with the surgery. The reception staff have been particularly good dealing with my Uncles needs via the telephone & sorting things out efficiently. The doctor has always been a great help to me explaining my condition & the medication required to treat it. He is always very friendly & greets me with a smile despite his stressful NHS job. He makes you feel that you are more than just a number which sadly can happen these days with the modern pressures the NHS is under . |

I have been registered at Talke Clinic for just over 4 years, it is a great GP practice. I don’t have difficulty making appointments and since covid there is now often the option of telephone appointments which is ideal for me as I work full time. I can’t recommend Dr Latt enough. She makes me feel very comfortable when discussing personal problems, she is very caring, listens carefully and investigates problems appropriately. When sending me for a referral or giving test results she explains it all very well. There have been some occasions when Dr Latt was unavailable so I had appointments with Dr Barker and again, everything was great. She listens to my concerns and ensures that I understand why I have or haven’t been sent for tests. Very professional and easy to talk to. Reception staff have also been helpful in the past when I’ve needed help. My partner is also registered here and has always been well taken care of by Dr Latt and a practice nurse |
