Every member of staff involved in a recent traumatic visit to the doctors with a family member were absolutely fantastic. They were caring, considerate, and sensitive to the situation. Even the staff that had to stay behind when the surgery closed. The cleaners were also amazing as they tried to help us in the situation we were in. I can't thank everyone here enough. If I could move to this surgery myself I would do! The only bad point is the parking. If I didn't have to use a wheelchair for access I would have just parked over the road. But due to having to use a wheelchair I had to block some people in! Oops!! not a reflection on the staff or surgery. |

I rang the reception at 1700 on a Friday night after I had finished work regarding my 20 month old baby girl whose breathing had deteriorated throughout the day due to a viral infection and she had an audible wheeze, was exhausted and unwell.
The doctor agreed to see her straight away. He assessed her and did an immediate referral to the Childrens Assessment Unit at the Royal Stoke Hopistal. He wrote a letter of referral and sent us straight up there where we were seen straight away.
She was kept in overnight and given nebulisers and inhalers and discharged the next day, back to her normal self!
I am so grateful for his kind, caring and professional approach to managing her care. His experience clearly shows.
Highly recommend this GP practice, their CQC report of Outstanding is most definitely deserved. |

Myself and my family have been patients here since moving to the area 16 years ago. I can honestly say that in all that time we have never been disappointed in the service we have received. For non-urgent appointments we always use the online booking system to choose s day and time to suit us and also a doctor of our choice if they are available. Under normal circumstances none of us visit a doctor very often but when we have needed a same day appointment we have always got one if we haven't minded what time of the day we go. Recently I have been to see the same doctor quite a few times after plucking up the courage to make an appointment following a rather bad few years. I was very anxious prior to my first appointment but the doctor was very patient, understanding and sympathetic and made me feel at ease and offered me very good advice and included me in the choice of treatment. I left feeling very relieved, like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders and wished I had been brave enough to go and speak to a doctor about my problem a long time ago. My treatment is working very well and I'm feeling much better already even though I know it's going to take a while. |
