Just awful place. Needs a good shake up. Trying to get my husband's repeat prescription sorted from the hospital was just dreadful. The hospital had sent letters to kiltearn to give him a resue pack when he gets a chest infection. When I call for his prescription they just don't know what I am talking about and and tell us to go back to the hospital. They just don't bother to read the letters they receive From the hospital. We just dread getting ill and having to ring them. Used to be a good practice. |

Rang this morning for my 5 year old daughter. Receptionist really didn't want to speak to me, was rude and fobbed me off with going to the pharmacist. Went to the pharmacist and they said I had to see the doctor. Went in to the practise in person and the queue was huge and not moving so rang again and by some miracle managed to get an appointment for later in the afternoon. Once at the appointment they were 30 minutes late and then got rid of us as soon as possible and barely even looked at my child. Did get a prescription though but the doctor said I might not be able to get hold of it! Went to 4 pharmacists before I was able to get the prescription and luckily got the last one available. I have never had a good experience at this practise. The reception staff are regularly rude and act like you are an inconvenience. |

Difficulty getting through to surgery long waits in queue only to be told to ring back tomorrow as there is no-one available. Diagnosis via telephone consultation, medication prescribed and made no difference, still unable to get a face to face appointment for a housebound elderly patient. Been going on for 3 weeks and no-one has actually seen him. Receptionists always apologetic but it doesn't seem to filter through. |
