I called the doctors surgery 64 times in order to get through this morning. I eventually got through to a receptionist, who decided that I needed to see the nurse practitioner rather than a doctor. When in fact it was the doctor I wished to speak to as she had dealt with me for the same problem. I left work early to allow enough time, however due the the whole of Church Street was closed off, I then had to take a different route to get there. On my way I called the surgery and explained my predicament. I was told I could not be over 10 mins. I was 2 minutes over and was stood in the queue to give my name. By this time I was now 15 mins late. I was told that they couldn't see me. I explained the circumstances and asked if I could wait to see the nurse practitioner and they said no. I asked why this is a problem, when I have to wait for between 20 and 60 minutes on occasions. I am totally disgusted in they way I have been treated. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND! | ||||||

Poor service overall. Difficulty getting an appointment and some unhelpful staff on reception when arriving. Due to high demands this surgery is struggling to manage quality patient care. As a result I would advise another surgery where the treatment is more accessible and a range of services are available. I required vaccines and rather than being upfront and honest, I was directed to a private practice that charged me for immunisations when they are actually free on the NHS. I would have preferred honesty in this situation. With regards to your vaccinations we advise patients who are traveling out of Europe to attend a private travel clinic to have the vaccinations not available on the NHS we are sorry if there has been a miscommunication. | ||||||

I’ve never seen any appointments on the online booking system and I can’t get through on the phone.
