I cannot fault the doctors at the surgery as I have been going through a difficult time at the moment bit what really annoys me is when you get through to discuss your problem with someone is the attitude of the receptionists!! The way they talk to people is awful I was onlybringing about a prescription and it was like yeah everybody has that deficiency cause we don't get enough sun ring you need a blood test. What do they know about my medical insights and the pharmacy had told me to ring! The people that ring or go to the surgery might not look physcially ill but they should treat they with compassion. The same when you ask for an appointment. It's really winds me up I don't mind telling them certain things but other things you need to keep private as I've experienced. So I think they need to discuss with the staff their attitude and how they come across as this can be upsetting and they appear very rude. I know they have a job to do but people would appreciate more if they didn't speak to you in this manner. |

Despite being very satisfied with the service generally, despite calling twice, I have been unable to get an appointment for ear syringing (as advised by the audiometrist last week), as all clinics were booked until 21st AUGUST (on 2nd July). I am unable to work effectively without my good ear functioning properly (and a hearing aid in my other ear). I have worked in the NHS, as a nurse for 55 years, and expect to receive better service than this. |
