Having had numerous trips to Mayford with my son, I can’t fault the surgery. Always manage to get an emergency same day appointment and have used the dispensary which is valuable when collecting medication after an appointment. As we live out the area but work in Northallerton and have had family there for years, you can still use the surgery which is great for the family. | ||||||

Can't recommend this surgery.
Have required constant pushing to care and coordinate care for my mother despite complex medical needs and terminal diagnosis.
Very poor at communication and often do not respond as promised or required to urgent queries about care or serious complaints over lack of action or advocacy for a patient.
Overall a practice that fails to meet basic requirements for coordinating care for patients when it becomes complex or difficult. I.e. when vulnerable patients need it most. | ||||||

When I explained some of my symptoms to a doctor, I was told 'Well at your age it's not that uncommon'. I'm in my early 50's. !!!! Completely unacceptable... you get brushed under the carpet, and forced to find alternative help from somewhere else. At your own expense of course, because they are unwilling to recommend the appropriate treatment. | ||||||
