This is a good practice. I have been attending this surgery for the last 8 years and can honestly say the staff go above and beyond what would be expected of them. The new appointment system has meant its now a lot easier to get an appointment which is a big improvement from before. I'm quite surprised to read a lot of harsh reviews... I know people's experiences are not the same... But I genuinely can't fault the health are staff, especially at the reception. Some locum doctors can sometimes have a negative attitude towards patients in my experience, but the most of the other GPS have been caring and helpful. Would definitely recommend this surgery Reply from The Avicenna Medical Practice Fri, 12 Jul 2019 15:36:33 +0100 Thank you ever so much for your kind comments. It is great to hear that you are happy and satisfied with our services here. I am glad our staff are going above and beyond . I am sorry to hear about the locum doctors, if you have any names please do feed that back to us so we can look into and deal with that. Thank you for recommending us to others. Please do come along to our monthly coffee mornings which are held on the first Friday of every month between 10am and 12noon. Staff are available to have a chat or you can get access to self care materials and speak with other patients at the practice. We also have a Patient Participation Group who meet every 4 months at the moment, this group is new and we are always looking for new members. If this is something that interests you please do call into reception and speak with Jackie Roberts our Patient Engagement lead. |
