I recently visited the surgery with a concerning lump I came across on my leg. I was worried as I’ve previously had bone cancer. After visiting the surgery they immediately sent me for an urgent x ray and ultrasound scan. I received my results in the next couple of days and was then referred to a specialist bone surgeon all within a week. I’ve always found the service here excellent. The staff are caring, compassionate and very professional. I would highly recommend this surgery to friends and family. |

What used to be a brilliant surgery has really gone down hill. Even before the new opening hours, a simple appointment for an asthma review was unavailable every time I phoned up, I ended up waiting 3 months. Since the new opening hours, I find the practice worrying. I have had serious mental health problems for 6 months, been on variety of medications and have been phoning every couple of weeks to try and find the right balance of medication. Not ONCE have I been able to get a face to face appointment, everything, even prescribing new tablets to me, has been done over the phone, which I find shocking.
The triage system is also a joke, that you need to phone before 10am. My record for trying to get through for triage is 73 phone calls. A few weeks ago I called in in person before 10am to pick up a sick note, asked if I could go on the triage list whilst I was there and the receptionist said no, I had to go and sit in my car outside and phone her! What a joke. |

Tried to phone for test results on 24/04/19 and follow up appointment Was unable to get through despite ringing repeatable from 8 am.Went the surgery to report problem get test results and make follow up appointment Was told no appointments available and keep ringing for triage did not offer any assistance.After still unable to make contact and now Monday 29/04/19 again went to the surgery talked to a different staff member who this time was very helpful and made the triage appointment in house.Why was it that the staff member I saw on my earlier visit couldn't be bothered to offer the same. Having signed up for online information why can't I use the facilities I signed up for no test results and no medical files. |
