Called the doctors at 08.00 for a phone consultation for my Husband who has shingles, they called at 17.15 only to tell me that there were no doctor in the surgery and he needed to go to Walk In Clinic. This is the first time we have had a bad experience. Shingles needs to be treated within the first 24 hours and he was in so much pain |

I have been at this surgery for 56 years and it has gone to pot. I had my 88 year old mum ring me one morning in tears she had severe cystitis the phone kept cutting out on her she was in agony I tried to get through I was no 5 one and a quarter hours later I was no 2 that’s when I put the phone down. My mums elderly neighbour then went to the surgery and was treated with contempt and disrespect!! The response was a phone call from the doctor at 4 o clock that day and the promise of a prescription after 5pm Thus didn’t get sent until the next day. Disgusting! My husband had an appointment regarding his throat he has had a really bad throat for a few weeks - the person he saw looked down his throat with the camera from his mobile phone! Gave him antibiotics and said to come back in a week . A week later he rung all morning in the end going down to the surgery only to be told he had to ring at 8am the following day and it could be 2 weeks before he can see anyone. He has no spleen so cannot fight infection |
