I rang today to see if the doctor had done my prescription I was on hold for 20 minutes. Good job it wasn’t urgent. In the end I just hung up. Not good really is it!! | ||||||

I have been registered with grove house surgery for many years now even after moving homes to the next town I still kept this as my surgery, on the recent visits I have been to the doctors it seems as though the doctors just don't care at all, not very welcoming to begin with, no smile, no hello, just funny looks and "what's wrong with you?". Doctors dont seem to take me seriously here. The attitude of some of the staff at grove house is disgusting!! some of them don't really know what they are doing, a few months ago I went for some blood tests and I was there for 10 mins because the nurse was trying to get some blood out , she couldn't find the vein to get it out from which was a waste of a morning and I had to come the week after for someone else to do it!! My most recent visit to the doctors the doctor dealt with me in a rough way when she was assessing me. I asked the doctor if I would need a sick note for any absence from work because i wasn't sure, response was "no you'll be alright". I am so fed up with this place it's unreal. i've made the decision to register at the surgery near me and leave grove house because of my awful experiences. The only good point with grove house is you can usely get appointments quite quick. | ||||||

I have been a patient at grove house surgery for years and throughout my time as a patient I have never been in such better hands. The reception ladies are very knowledgeable and always answer my questions and queries dispite being busy. During busy periods the reception staff always seem professional polite and welcoming and always put the patients first.
I have had the opporuntity to see three particular GPs, all of which have been able to help me to the best of their abilities. All have made me feel comfortable and ensured I’m being treated correctly. I have never had a issue with getting a appointment and if I’ve been unsuccessful they have always helped me find a alternative.
I would highly recommend this doctors surgery and all the team should be proud of themselves as their contiinous hard work pays off. The patients are the heart of the surgery and I am able to see this from all staff every visit.
