Earlsheaton Medical Centre

I've been with this practice along with my family for a number of years. I moved from another practice who had extremely rude reception staff, and I can say on the whole my experience at Earlsheaton has been positive. When my son was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare illness, I was stressed out trying to access the care he needed after first being discharged from the hospital and not fully understanding the nature of the illness yet. The receptionist I spoke to went out of her way to help, and also provided a listening ear and kind words that were much needed at the time and still remain with me. I've mostly been able to get appointments the same day or the next day, and doctors are professional, experienced and will refer you on for further scans/x-rays etc..if needed without bouncing back and forth.

I've been a patient here for over 5 years now. I'm pleased to have staff that really care about you, there's a personal touch that makes you feel welcome everytime you visit. The doctors are professional and respectful, you never doubt the quality of care.

After having a number of difficulties with surgeries across the country with my partner's and my own health, this is one of the good ones. The receptionists do their very best to be accommodating and make sure they are doing their jobs. Very occasionally we have had slight attitude but only when it was a difficult situation and even then they are as helpful as they can be. The doctor's are professional and some will even do the extra reading to make sure they know what they are doing. The nurses are always friendly and welcoming even if they're having bad days!! Overall would recommend and even thogh there are some restriction and policies etc. they are as flexible as possible.
