I had spent sometime with my grand daughter over the weekend. She was recovering from chicken pox. A couple of days later I started feeling unwell and developed a severe rash around both eyes, and lower part of my body. I tried to manage it with antihistamines as I thought it was an allergic reaction, but it continued to worsen. I then thought I had developed shingles after visiting my grand daughter.I called the practice for advice. T
hey instructed me to come in the same afternoon for a gp consultation. I met with a female gp (can’t remember her name) – she examined me and informed me that in fact it was a severe reaction to an unknown cause, and not shingles as I had thought. She then spent some time trying to identify the cause, but as I had not change my normal lifestyle routines, a likely cause was not identified. I was advised to take piriton tablets, and she has now referred my for an allergy test to identify what is causing this severe reaction.
I would like to thank the gp and the practice for responding to my needs so swiftly and seeing me the same day. Several days later I have now fully recovered and am thankful for the support I received – thanks very much |

I came for a tooth extraction today. Excellent service however I didn't get the chance to thank all the staff as I can't even remember getting home. Thanks. Steven Wilson. |
