Ireland Wood has been our GP practice for almost 40 years and we've always been very happy with the service and care we've received from the whole staff team. Drs are caring, make time for you, listen to concerns and offer advice and endeavour to get you the best care possible. Nursing staff are also very good and offer additional services that help free up important appointments offered by the Drs. The weekend hub service is separate from the main GP practice but uses the same premises. Its a great back up service though. | ||||||

This practice is superb. The staff throughout - from reception to doctor are all very helpful and supportive. I have never had any problem getting an appojntment when I needed one. The premises are clean, bright and well looked after. The fact there is a pharmacy attached just makes life even easier. They provide appointments outside normal working hours which helps if you work full time. They have a good choice of health care professionals to supoort you - all of whom are fantastic. Honestly the best practice I have ever used.

On 17/9/19 i phoned for a same day app, I was given a 1hr call back. My throat was swollen but my breathing seemed normal. I was seen within 90 mins from me phoning. I was with the Dr for about 5 mins when they called for an ambulance. What I thought was a simple case of an infection was in fact a sever allergic reaction. The Dr kept me calm whilst calling for a nurse to admister adrenaline.
Not once was I made to feel like I had done wrong phoning gp instead of an ambulance. Even the paramedics said how fantastic the surgery dealt with it. | ||||||
