I have been registered at this surgery for years now. The service has been degrading over that time. I now cannot get an appointment when needed, whether asked for that day, that week or anytime really. I am told no appointments are available for booking. I need to call on the day at 8am or 2pm for on the day appointment which most of the time I cannot get. I have been disappointed with the main practitioner and the non appointed GPs are very difficult to be seen by. I imagine this is because of the amount of time they spend at the surgery and the amount of patients trying to see someone else than the main practitioner. I find myself in a position where I will be changing GP surgery shortly. | ||||||

One thing that this practice is able to do is to give you an appointment more or less when you want it. It does mean ringing at 8 am in the morning on the day you want your appointment or 2 pm on that day.but you can be almost certain you will be given one. The receptionists are always helpful and polite and I rate the professional performance of one of them as outstanding.
The only problem I have with the GPs is a male GP. I wonder if he has some problem with women patients. In consultations with him I find that he goes off at a tangent and seems to have his own agenda which is nothing to do with the reason you have come to see a doctor. If the patient does not have the confidence to bring him back to their problem the patient can leave the surgery with nothing achieved. My husband however seems to have no problem with him. | ||||||

This GP is the best I've ever had. My doctor is the best in the world with a great sense of humour which helps you to relax and makes you feel healed before you even say your problem. My GP is genuinely caring, understanding and has a lot of time for the patients. My GP takes their time to explain the problem and talk you through the solution. I lived in London for 12 years and if you compare the services I received in London to the ones I'm receiving now, the difference couldn't be any clearer. I wish all doctors could come and understudy my GP, they are outstanding. The receptionist is marvellous as well and goes their way to make sure your appointment is suitable for you. The receptionist is very polite on the phone and readily available to help. Please Keep Up the Good Work and continue to do what you are doing. | ||||||
