I felt very poorly and rang the surgery for a telephone appointment. Within 30 minutes I was contacted by a GP to discuss my symptoms. Having discussed the symptoms the GP asked me to go to the surgery straight away. After a very short wait I was seen and various tests were done and medication prescribed. In my opinion this surgery always provides a first class service. |

I just had to compliment your excellent receptionist staff who often have to deal with me when crippled by anxiety, confused and muddled. They have shown me a level of friendly patience and courtesy that is to be commended.Working in these difficult times with few resources on the ground for anyone with mental health problems or complex needs the staff have tried their utmost to help as much as the Govt funding will allow. I am impressed how everyone works in a none judgemental collaborative way where glitches are quickly dealt with and human errors when they occur,because we are all learning fallible human beings, are immediately acted upon with as many lessons being learnt as possible. If I were not retired and no longer able to work in my field of mental health I'd jump at the chance of contributing to this surgery. I feel very lucky and privileged to belong to Hannage. And one that also has a sense of humour-always a plus when dealing with this shy reticent patient. Any horror stories that I have stored deep within the recesses of my mind and indicative of unenlightened times elsewhere are now melting away into the mists of time because all the surgery staff have bent over backwards to try and reassure me times have changed and Hannage Brook is a modern enlightened service aiming to be a shining example of how to treat its staff and patients. The baggage of my past experiences has been left at the county boundary! Well done! Now all I want is for Govt funding to swell.......my fingers are crossed. |
