On this occasion I visited as was concerned about a ongoing chest pain that had worsened. Called in the morning and was called back promptly by the receptionist to see the emergency care practitioner. Diagnosed as chest strain, especially as had been pulling a suitcase recently which I hadn’t thought about. Was put at ease and didn’t feel silly for having an appointment which wasn’t for anything other than muscular comfort and was put at ease that it was nothing more serious. Practitioner however was still thorough and put me through for a blood clot check as had recently been on a flight. The nurse made the experience quick and easy despite not being a fan of blood tests. Both colleagues were friendly and kind and made me feel relaxed. My husband was seen by the doctor recently and we were both so pleased with her care and treatment. She was pleasant, smiled and didn't rush us. There was a student in with her and asked if it was OK. Not once did she show off in front of him. She talked to both my husband and I. Asked us both questions. The doctor knowing my husband's family history, was taking no chances. She did all the tests she felt necessary, many whilst we were there. She answered our questions, put herself out to make sure we were treated well. Even technical issues with the computers didn't phase her. She's what a family GP is all about. Five star care and she treated us like humans, not numbers. Thank you doctor. |

I've been at this surgery for almost 13 years and in the time its service has dramatically improved. Now, I feel they have good systems in place and they will help and expedite where necessary. We all seem to readily complain and not do the same when the service is good. This is good and worth a mention. |
