The surgery has a most welcoming atmosphere and provides a very high standard of provision for the patient. Following a recent visit, the reception staff was very friendly and the nurse practitioner provided an unrushed consultation. | ||||||

I joined the surgery recently and was impressed by the proactive attitude of the doctor I saw first. I have seen him twice now, and have found him professional, but a little abrupt if asked to deal with more than one issue. I have since seen a second doctor at the surgery who has been consistently outstanding. I have been referred on to see specialists after the Dr took the time to listen and ask questions, and to identify causes, not just to treat symptoms - a very different experience from my previous doctor of 20 years. I have also found the reception staff to be consistently friendly and helpful. After reading negative views about the practice, I was rather apprehensive, but I have not encountered any negative experiences. In all, I am extremely grateful to have found a Dr whose advice I can trust. | ||||||

I am a bit in shock really, I finally made a Gp appointment to discuss some issues i have had, barely able to speak, when i mentioned at the end of the appointment that I did have another thing i needed to raise the doctor told me that he was very busy and i needed to make another appointment.
As there was only two other people in the waiting room before I went in and had only been with this doctor for 5 minutes this surprised and upset me. I guess what the doctor didnt realise was that it has taken me this long to get the confidence to even mention it (not that I was given the chance).
I did leave the surgery feeling quite tearful, perhaps the doctor needs to consider that his behaviour has an effect on his patients.
Also- the thing i needed to discuss would have not taken more then 2 minutes. | ||||||
