The system for making appointments is ridiculous, I used three telephones at the same time from 8am, the wait to be answered was almost 10 minutes, the member of staff who eventually answered one of them was immediately blunt to the point of rudeness and told me the last appointment available was 03.50, no questions re the reason we’re asked. The appointment was for a child who had been kept off school to see a GP urgently with a known condition which requires meds prescribing. Having been registered with this surgery for 26 years,I can say that the quality of care has deteriorated considerably during this time. I am not sure this is due to reduced NHS funding, perhaps patient numbers have increased beyond capabilities, the surgery seems to have more non clinical staff, more automation and less consideration for patients |

I have had multiple health problems both physical and mental and I have experienced the highest level of care and empathy, I could not rate this practice with anything less than 5 stars. |

I have several complicated medical conditions and have visited the surgery again with another issue that requires investigation. I have been with the surgery for 30 years and with my current doctor for around 20 years of since he moved to the practice. As with yesterday's meeting he has always taken time to absorb the information question and offer diagnosis taking time to explain possible scenarios and treatment options and I always feel involved in choosing the way forward. My complaints over the years have been challenging but he has always found a resolution and at all times he has empathised where appropriate and delivered and despatched his treatment with as much emotional intellect as IQ. |
