This used to be a fantastic surgery, however, recently you are lucky to get through on the phone, never mind get an appointment! Finally managed to call back from the doctor today (appointments no longer able to be booked daily it has to be a call from the doctor instead) to be told I need to be seen, and possibly referred to hospital for further tests. Next available appointment they could offer me was in TWO WEEKS!? |

Generally the service has been very good but over the last few months it has declined significantly. You can't get an appointment. simply because no one answers the phone, tried for three days running and sat waiting for over 40 mins for someone to answer then phone cuts you off and you have to try again. You go to the door and all they say is ring the phone number, whats the point when they dont answer. Its almost as if they don't want to provide a service or patients Repeat prescriptions are never issued on time, thats if they are issued, some months its ready at the Pharmacy and others you have to chase everyman and his dog to get it issued. They seem to randomly change the protocol for repeat prescriptions some months they will just issue it others you have to ring, its not consistent and never explained to you. When you do ring for a repeat prescription its never correct as they miss things off and they never ring you to check. If you have a standing prescription for several items every month on repeat with no changes, why only issue half or 6 out of 7 items, or if its a repeat why not just issue it. You can't register for online services online, I mean what would be the point in that, No you need a code which only the the surgery can issue, but as no one answers the phone you can't get the details you need to register online for online services. You can get the NHS App easier but no access to register to you GP services online, again blocked at every opportunity to try and use them, they really make you feel as if they don't want to provide a service or see patients. All in all the surgery has seriously gone down the drain, and this has gotten significantly worse since it moved to its temporary accommodation. |

Literally the worst experience ever trying to get an appointment booked or even speak to anyone at this place! It’s impossible to get through, when you do get through after an hour or maybe longer the reception staff is rude and not willing to help at all no sympathy whatsoever, and when you do manage to book an appointment somehow it either gets cancelled anyway or you get seen by a doctor that’s dismissive, doesn’t listen, rushes the appointment or just Google’s stuff in front of you showing they actually have poor knowledge , and I’m trusting this person with MY HEALTH?! Unreal. |
