I have been a patient for many years and cannot praise the medical staff enough. I am receiving new medication which has to be increased gradually. All ok the 1st month. I saw the nurse no examination no tests just asked if I was OK with the medication. I said yes and it was increased. I had an appointment on the 27th but had covid symptoms so had to cancel. I rang today to rebook the appointment and the most obstructive rude person I've ever met took my call. She spoke over me and kept saying do you want the new appointment or not every time I tried to speak. The new appointment was for August 01st but I am on holiday then until the 15th. This means I may not get an appointment until September or even October. The increase in medication would by then be nil and void. I tried to say can you ask the nurse if she would ring me so I can explain the situation and she may then increase it but all I got was sorry can't do, sorry can't do...do you want this appointment or not. It was so fxxxn rude I've never been spoken to like that before in my life. Eventually I hung up and have emailed the surgery. It's absolutely disgusting that people are permitted to speak to patients in this manner. The NHS needs to remember it exists because we its patients fund it, if Brayford Surgery was a private company that individual on reception would be responsible for them going bust. Absolutely disgraceful. |

Absolute sh**show of a practice, unbelievably rude staff on reception who have evidently had no training on how to speak to members of the public, not to mention the shocking service from a so called GP who advised me to have a lay down and that will make everything better when suffering heavy bleeding in early pregnancy, making a complaint to the practice manager had no effect on anything as a couple of weeks later I was given an appointment with said doctor who I was told wasn’t allowed to deal with me or members of my family anymore. Do not go here. |

This surgery saved my life, they detected i had cancer in the breast and i had only just moved here from Dorset. Needless to say i had the surgery, chemo and radiotherapy that i needed and i am now a cancer survivor. The Doctors and staff especially Tracy whom i have a good relationship with are fantastic. I can generally speak to doctor on the phone and if needed an appointment is sent to me. I will never change doctors, these are the best i have ever had. |
