My wife and I have been registered at this surgery for many years and have always been very happy with the service we have received. The Doctors treat you with respect and really listen to you. Take the time to explain treatments and are always pleasant. The nurses, pharmacists and receptionists, in fact everyone we have come into contact with has been respectful, kind and efficient. We have always been able to get appointments in a timely manner. Jut lately we have had occasion to be particularly impressed . This was in the occasion of my wife contracting the winter vomiting virus. She put up with it for a while day and a night but on the second day I called the surgery for advice and the receptionist out me thru to a doctor who said he would visit after morning surgery was completed. He came as he said he would and checked my wife over and left her with some anti vomiting tablets. She took these but several hours later was no better , the tablets having no effect. My wife had eaten nothing for two days and hardly slept at all. I rang the surgery again, and the Same Doctor came out again, in his way home, this time giving my wife an injection which did take effect and my wife was able to get some sleep that night. She was much improved in the morning, in large part because she had managed to get some sleep without the constant retching. Then today the same Doctor telephoned my wife to ask how she was. Now that’s GOOD service. Other Doctors at this practice have also been excellent in their patient care. This surgery is a shining example of how a Doctors surgery should be run and I just want to thank them for all their hard work and dedication | ||||||

We moved to the area about 18 months ago, leaving a GP practice where we had to fight for an appointment and where the GPs were generally quite disinterested. Church Hill Surgery is like a breath of fresh air. The reception staff are friendly and we have always been given appointments quickly and at a time to suit us. Both the GPs which we have seen have been lovely - interested, enthusiastic and efficient. Being able to order repeat prescriptions and book appointments online is so time saving and, as we are rural, being able to collect medication from the pharmacy instead of having to travel to a chemist in town is great. We feel very lucky to have found such a good surgery and cannot recommend it highly enough. | ||||||
