When my mum came back from a nursing home for palliative care, we were worried about the level of care we would get but after the first phone call, we had from the owner I was made to feel much more at ease. Together with her team, they have been wonderful with Mum. It can be quite hard to find good carers. They were so patient with mum and just seemed to understand her. They didn't rush her in any way and made her feel relaxed and comfortable even though she had not come to terms about being palliative. Mum was so upset about having to be cleaned up in bed but Ruby and her ladies managed to help her realise that nothing was too much for them. They went above and beyond even rubbing her hands and feet to help relax her. Mum had said that she felt like a piece of meet in the nursing home when she was washed or cleaned, but said the carers were very gentle and were never rough with her. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in a similar situation. Thank you for everything you guys did for Mum.
