Valley Care Direct was first conceived of early in 2010. At the time we all worked for the local authority.
Between the four of us we have 55 years experience as Home Helps.
We decided as a team that we wanted to offer a wider range of quality services which at the time were not available to people in the this area.
We pride ourselves on being a strong team of home help carers providing our services across the Hope Valley.
We wanted to give a choice of:
Call times Key workers giving stability to care A wider range of services giving choice to Service User&s Promote Accompanied outing&s giving Service User&s the chance to become part of their community once again!&
We were successful in gaining funding from DCC and Age Concern (Derby and Derbyshire) as a Social Enterprise for Derbyshire We have steadily built up a good reputation for consistent quality care and continue to gain work from DCC Service Users, receiving direct payments and private customers.
