Jemcare provides home care in the Copeland and Allerdale areas of Cumbria. They also provide what is called generic domiciliary care. This is a special service where support workers assist the work of health care professionals so that people with chronic illnesses can remain in their own homes. Mar 6 2022 I always had carers I liked, they were almost universally nice. Unfortunately, every single dealing I had with the admin side was a disastrous shambles. Not bothering to tell me about staff sickness. Not bothering to tell me if they had to come on a different day. Being totally incompetent when it came to receiving payment for my bill. Eventually I said that was it, I was leaving. And then having the cheek to say theyd undercharged me & could I pay them an outstanding £100? I only needed very light care, but I couldnt stop thinking about how youd cope with this level of incompetence if you had more complex care needs.
