Shepshed Carers have been looking after my mother for approximately two years as she has dementia. Prior to this they looked after my late father for a period of time.
I find them reliable, flexible and the individuals that look after my mum are friendly and personable. In all, very professional.
Communication with management is good with regular reviews. |

I want to express that Shepshed Cares are very disorganized and for the rate of £16 per hour, our money was better spent elsewhere.
The have many carers which visit your loved one, but the carers do not always show up and sometimes miss appointments. For somebody with an illness like dementia, seeing multiple people and not having a set routine is a very big problem.
We spoke with Shepshed Carers about their organization, but they are not the best at replying to emails or calls. They make promises they cannot keep and the visits do not happen. You cannot exactly ask your loved one who has dementia if Shepshed Carers visited today because they probably wouldn't remember!
If you would like good reliable care for a loved one, look elsewhere because based on our experience, this non-profit isn't providing the service which is advertised or expected. |
