Oct 10 2015 l have concerns over this company offering a care service, to old and vulnerable adults. My family member has been with this care service for about 3 months; and it seems that we are contacting the office more often than not. Today for example the carer arrived late (not what is stipulated in the care plan) am to give shower and breakfast and forgot to give the required medication from blister pack. The carer's are often late and again more often than not, don't stay for the required time of 30 minutes. In the meeting that we had reviewing my family members care package with a social worker, mentioned that the carer's should stay the required time, regardless if they are late or not. I can appreciate that there can sometimes be hiccups regarding carer's arriving late, however, a phone call to the person being cared for by letting them know would be nice or are they just a number and their dignity is not considered either. This is just some of the concerns that my family has regarding the care of our family member. l must admit l am appalled at the other review that has been posted on this site regarding the treatment that their family member has received; and it seems that this company cannot handle any constructive feedback from their service users and family members. Surely, this information can be used to improve their services that they offer to our vulnerable older community. P.s this is no reflection on the majority of the carer's, however, l feel that they are not given the time to offer a good service due to work overload.

Aug 31 2015 "Carers" never stay for allocated time ! Leave areas very untidy and don't clean up spilt food or drinks when preparing meals ! Put dirty pads in kitchen bin instead of outside bin, which they have to pass on leaving ! Very few carers follow the plan written in care plan ! After contacting the supervisor and manager about the concerns, and then putting it in writing due to management not addressing the issues ! A meeting was had and at this meeting the company decided they didn't want the package due to "me moaning" even the social services who were present was shocked at the decision of the company ! We agreed it would have been far more appropriate to address the concerns of the extremely poor care provided ! Beware and check your loved ones to see if they are being cared for if this company has the care package !
