Housing & Care 21 Lea Springs

My mum moved into Lea Springs on New Year's Eve with much excitement and anticipation. My sisters and I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful environment for our mum to live in, not an easy thing after 50 years in the same home. The carers and staff, as well as residents, have made her feel extremely welcome, As Housing & Care 21 had provided her domicile care in her previous home we felt confident that she would be well looked after. She has the independence of having her own flat with the bonus of a communal room, where she meets up with her new friends, and can participate in social activities if she chooses. Knowing the carers are always on hand is a big relief to mum and us. Harpenden town is just a five minute drive away and easily accessible. There is a good choice of places to eat or to just have a nice cup of tea with cake. Hertfordshire itself offers many places to visit, go shopping or to just enjoy the countryside. We all look forward to mum making the most of life and enjoying her new home at Lea Springs. Thank you Housing & Care 21 for your innovation into the Care of the Elderly. Karen
