The carers visits are monitored by them logging in and out by their app where they can also input their visit notes. The medication is checked carefully against the prescription when administered . Supervisors make unannounced checks on carers during visits and also if any concerns are raised. The provider also arranges community based events, to which all their clients and the local elderly community are invited ie. Christmas meal, Tea dance, and social activity workshops. Also transport is offered.

Through the past few years Bluebird Care have been an essential part of my motherâ??s life. She has low level dementia and ulcerated legs to monitor, and very little ability to look after herself, so I needed to feel that I could completely rely on those who look after her. I live two hundred miles away, and The Bluebird girls - who mum refers to as her â??blue angelsâ?? - are a godsend by seeing to all her daily needs. From shopping to preparing meals, from getting mum up in the morning to her washing and personal hygiene, mum is taken care of with sensitivity and thoughtfulness by a team of Carers she has come to know and like. Her medication is obtained and controlled by the Carers, and any lapses in health are relayed to mumâ??s surgery or the District Nurses. Any visits to the doctorâ??s, dentists or hospital are taken care of, whether it be for an appointment or in an emergency. This brings great security for mum, and terrific peace of mind to me. I can read all of the notes prepared each visit by the Carers through an app on my phone, which together with telephone support gives me complete confidence in staying in touch with what is happening in mumâ??s life. Any immediate concerns are given 100% attention and quickly and expertly followed up. It is impossible to tell you just how reassuring this is. Although nearly 90, Mumâ??s level of dementia is manageable, and being in her own home I believe is an important support to that stability. Bluebird Care enables me to keep it this way for as long as possible, for which I am hugely grateful. They are a terrific team.

All staff are kind, patient, caring and compassionate to client and family. All staff do their best to help in any way they can and are always professional. My husband has particular care needs that are well understood and appreciated by all carers. Warm, friendly and aware of client needs at all times. Office staff always helpful.
