My mum was treated appallingly by some staff members, specifically some health‘care’ assistants who really couldn’t ‘care’ less about her after she had a fall after being unwell for some time. She was awaiting a CT scan & after the fall was quickly dumped by the N&N because they were running out of beds (pre pandemic!) despite them almost certainly knowing there was something badly wrong with her. I pressed Beccles to get her to her CT scan & she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer & passed away within weeks & after 10 days of being passed onto a nursing home (who were wonderful). The only help we got in Beccles was one particularly lovely nurse who stood up for us when getting palliative care was so slow. The palliative care nurse from St Elizabeth‘s hospice was also amazing. Those who made mum so emotionally uncomfortable at Beccles should be ashamed of themselves. |

What a fantastic hospital this is! Following my recent stay for rehab after getting a new hip at James paget hospital .
Everything about the hospital was A1 the facilities are superb, it was always spotlessly clean at all times.
And the staff are wonderful!
I was always made to feel very important and my wishes a real priority.
I really want to say a huge thank you for making my stay such a real pleasure, I was very sad to say goodbye to you all.
