My surgery was cancelled as I was about to enter theatre because the microscope required for Mr Nandapalan was being used for another surgery at the same time so therefore my procedures couldn’t go ahead. I was admitted at 2pm 25th Nov 2022, completed all the paperwork with the nurses, had my blood pressure taken, met the anaesthetist, my consultant Mr Nandapalan had talked me through the procedures and marked my neck around 3pm, I was in a gown and socks and ready to go to theatre around 3.20pm when Mr Nandapalan disappointingly explained he didn’t have the microscope to do the surgery due to it being in use!! My wife and I had booked time off work, paid for our son to be in nursery an extra day & arranged for family to pick up our daughters from School. This has caused unnecessary stress, additional anxiety, financial loss and inconvenience plus wasting Mr Nandapalans time which could of been used to help someone else. Why was the only microscope available being used elsewhere? I’m sure Mr Nandapalan who seemed very angry will also make a complaint. My next Admission date is the 26th Jan!!! This now means my insurance excess for the new year kicks in so it’s going to cost another £500 plus the £500 I’ve already paid. It would of been quicker & less cost to go via the NHS |

Hi all staff on this day 21/06/2022 Went in for Hernia (belly button). Well where do I start, from the moment I walked into this hospital I was immediately greeted by very helpful and encouraging staff from consultation and all the way through the whole operation. The staff are so friendly and vey considering for all your every needs. I was in awe of this hospital. The aftercare is second to none also. As you can probably work out I would like to thank everyone at the hospital for a very professional experience and would highly recommend for anyone to relish in booking here. Once again thank you very much. |
