Very very disappointed with the level of care received at the Orchards. No interaction between staff and patients even though they were normally full staffed (don't get me wrong , that's a good thing) it was hard work tracking staff down for the most basic of request like opening your bedroom door. I felt manipulated, bullied and ignored , no discussion over change of medication and I felt I didn't matter. They focus more on discharging you far too early even with no pressure on beds , and wonder why people end up coming back. Don't get me wrong some of the staff were brilliant and did their upmost , but in the face of so much pressure it made it impossible. During my time I didn't feel safe , again many incidents with staff not being available on the ward which is known to reduce them as being on the ward can act as a deterrent . Patients were also coming across from PICU "allegedly" acute ready when they clearly weren't , obviously a bed issue. Really sad I come under their catchment area as I never want to go back there Original Comment Report...
