ive had to go into hospital 3 times this week once by ambulance due to excruciating pain in my lower abdomen and back. its been a nightmare to get scans and been waiting more than 8 hours at a time in a&e. they have sent me home each time for me to have to be rushed straight back in due to unbearable pain, they told me to go home and put a hot water bottle on it because the pains didnt fit into 1 category so they didnt have a clue what was wrong basically. finally i seen a doctor who actually helped he figured it was kidney problems and booked me a scan for the next day. i rang up my gp as i was told to see where the scan would be they informed me they are unable to do the scan and i would have to go and wait in a&e again or wait till monday (it was thursday) none of the nurses or doctors have any sympathy or time of day for anyone. if you are thinking of going to this hospital i would highly recommend that you dont its an absolute joke.
