I have recently been an inpatient on ward 3 at Broadgreen following an orthopaedic procedure . The care I received from every member of staff during my stay was excellent and I would like to thank them all. They truly represent a caring and professional team at every level and they are a credit to the hospital and the NHS. |

I would like to thank, my Cardiologist and his team, the Cardio Version, cardio rehabilitation, mri, echocardiogram, cardiac nurses etc staff, for their above and beyond dedication throughout my treatment. My sincere thanks, for the improvement in my quality of life, allowing me to play football with my grandchildren, return to playing walking football after 15 months and even hopefully to going back to work, a few days a week. |

First of all, I have been attending Broad Green hospital for about five years for micro-suction. I have found this service to be excellent in all respects - easy to make appointments, timely call from nurse, and thorough removal of wax. One issue - and this issue is common across alll hospitals whenever I have attended as an out patient, difficulty in hearing nurse/doctor/technician when being called. I have hearing problems, that is true, but so do many other people, and hospitals do not make it easy for such people to know when their time has come to have attended to whatever needs attending to. There are many ways - not least nurses ensuring patients do not miss their turn by calling names clearly and distinctly - of improving things in this regard. I for one would appreciate some change of system, and as I say, it is all hospitals (and all departments within all hospitals). |
