Mum in Waveney Rehabilitation Ward Been trying for 2 days to phone and speak as visiting prohibited at present, Sunday 10th and Monday 11th April 2022. Been phoning every 10 mins constantly today (Monday 11th April) from 1pm to 7pm on patient contact number and ward number phone constantly ringing no one answering. Absolutely disgraceful and appalling what if this was a dire emergency cannot even get though on main switchboard. Staff shortages are not an excuse part of patient care is being able to communicate with family if visiting prohibited. This hospital is not managed properly. |

I was a visitor to Harwich when I was taken ill. At the local hospital I was treated with compassion and efficiency by everyone from the reception staff to the on duty nurse through to the doctor called to prescribe pain relief.
The doctor also arranged an X-ray and provided a possible reason for my pain and gave me a letter with all the information to pass on to my own GP.
I am very grateful to all concerned for the care they gave me. Original Comment Report... |
