Constant delays in responses (biopsy results, issue of prescriptions and many more). Causing patient distress sleepless nights etc. Wont mention the consultants name,but she has been weeks to respond and invisible since attendance in Macclesfield General |

I visited here tonight with my son, who had arranged to be there for 8pm, having never been to the hospital at all and it being dark, I found it a little difficult to navigate around, but found a&e and went to reception, again pointing out here that we have never been before!, stated we were asked to come in and receptionist stated not possible, some wires were crossed here! Anyway, answered the questions then went to wait, decided to walk further on and found the gp section, rang the bell and voile we are in! The instructions were given to my son on what to do and where to find the department however it was busy and we’d never been before. So he showed the lady the booklet we had been given when at the other reception and she stated that he was instructed but never mind we’ll get you taken off the a&e system! … sorted, however one member of staff did not know his mother was sat around the corner and could clearly be heard saying his name and referring to him as a d***h***. Now I cannot fault the oohs gp service, but feel that this lack of professionalism is why the nhs gets a bad rep!! But again I was pleased with the oohs gp service |

Fed up of cancelled appointments and not being able to get any clarification of when I actually might get one to see anyone. Had to resort to going to A&E just to be seen by someone which just clogs the system up elsewhere. Have also been told that physio wait is about 5 months! What’s the point. |
