My experience at the Silverwood centre (camhs) while trying to get my Son some help and support turned into a very unhelpful & traumatic one! We have been left in a worse position than before we began as the therapist wouldnt listen to what I was trying to explain about the current situation with my Son. She felt she knew best & was taking credit for situations which took place long before the therapy, therefore the current & ongoing issues which we are still struggling with didnt get discussed or worked on at all! When I tried to explain that more support was needed, she began putting me down in front of my Son causing me to leave the room. I left feeling that its all about ticking boxes from her end!
