I telephoned the hospital on Sunday to check if my symptoms of tonsilitis could be diagnosed.I lived 22 miles away and could not get any medical attention in my town. The receptionist was most helpful and understanding and asked me to go through and they would look at it for me. I arrived to find a lovely modernised unit, admission was prompt and efficient and I was soon see by medical staff. Again most efficent, friendly, understanding and diagnosed my problem speedily. I was given antibiotics. I am so grateful for the outstanding service provided at Keswick and would recommend to anyone needing this service

My husband was suffering with a bad chest and wheezing badly. Both members of staff present on Saturday 8th October were amazing. Sorted him out straight away and we enjoyed the rest of our few days away. It’s a small cottage hospital but it was far and above better than our local hospital. Definitely 5 star plus

On Sunday 1 May 2022 I was on holiday in Keswick when I suffered an injury cutting my scalp rather badly. Considerable blood loss soon subsided and I felt the incident was over. But later in the day I was persuaded to have the wound looked at and at 15.00 I presented at the Keswick Cottage Hospital. I could not have received a warmer welcome and more professional treatment. The way I was dealt with made me so proud of our NHS and all who work in it. Thank you so much.
