I had a panic attack when going for a CT Angiogram. The staff in the CT room where so patient and calming. They made me feel relaxed and cared for. I cannot thank them enough. I was very conscious of wasting their time. They looked after very professionally and with compassion.

I have always had excellent experience from LRI but I have been on a waiting list for this one. The staff were fantastic and the consultant was amazing she was calm helpful honest and she didnt rush me. Ensured I understood the situation. People are too happy to complain and not give credit when its due. But this experience was outstanding in my opinion they need to be recognized so much better

I was diagnosed with a high white-cell count having had a blood-test for something completely unrelated. Things moved with awesome rapidity and I found myself in cancer triage on a Saturday morning. Staff were warm and professional. They kept me informed of what was going on and what was suspected. It was confirmed that I have leukaemia; the implications and prognosis were explained in a clear and direct manner, and I was left in no doubt of where things stood and the support and treatment I would receive. Whilst I wouldn’t recommend contracting blood cancer, I’d say that - if you do contract it - the staff at Leicester Royal are superb.
