They do not care. You call and call and call and either get no answer, an uninterested male receptionist or hung up on. My extremely suicidal husband finally managed to get through after a week of trying and was just told by a duty cpn called Debbie that he needs to make the effort instead of “just sitting around all day with these feelings” which he NEVER does. He’s been trying his best by gardening and cleaning etc yet she has the cheek to say this. When he told Debbie this, she laughed and sarcastically said “oh okay then”. I am NOT amused. The psychiatrist Sarah Williams is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. My husband told her he’s feeling so unwell and she didn’t believe him, despite severe risk assessments from a clinical psychologist from a different service. This place needs shutting down.
