My GP sent me to hospital with a suspected fracture in my hand. Despite not having an appointment i was seen in radiology wirhin 20 minutes. It was confirmed that i had a fracture as was instructed to go to book in to A&E to see a doctor, my x-ray films had already been sent over. Booked into A&E and was seen within 20 minutes by a doctor. She adcised me that a hand trauma doctor would look at the x-ray and comment and was asked to wait in rhe A&E waiting area. Within 15 minutes i was called in to have a cast fitted, as recommended by the hand trauma doctor, and an appointment was made for me to attend the fracture clinic next week.
The level of service i received was exemplary, very efficient and friendly with everything explained at every stage. Thankyou to all members of staff who dealt with me. Fantastic service. Original Comment Report... |
