Sep 19 2019 Chose Braintree over Broomfield for a final pre-surgery test as it was considered faster, and of course had free parking. We knew there were 2 phlebotomists working, and suspected another had arrived when the numbers seemed to move more quickly. However, there were 32 people ahead of me, so just short of an hour and a half later, we got out of the department, and that was with a few patients not showing. Faster than Broomfield? Unlikely for mid-morning on a Thursday. My phlebotomist was courteous, spoke in a friendly manner and would have been more efficient had I been less mean in letting go of my blood. I hope they got enough. Thank you!

Aug 3 2019 I needed a blood test so chose to go to St Michaels on Tuesday 29 July 2019.I was sixth in the queue and overall my wait was about 10 minutes as there were two members of staff carrying out the blood tests. The lady who did mine was lovely and smiley. More importantly she was gentle and I barely felt a thing. I can't think of any reason not to go to St. Michaels. The facilities are great with free street level parking and a superb restaurant providing cheap home cooked meals. There are no stairs to climb and the staff all seem happy to be working there.
